CLEANING & ARRIVAL PROCEDURES
We look forward to having you stay at East Shore Lodging. We’ve taken considerable additional measures to clean, disinfect & sanitize our rooms & property so that we can be open safely and responsibly.
Prior to your Arrival: Your room number and personalized 4-digit entrance code will be emailed to you the day before arrival & texted to you on the morning of arrival.
ARRIVAL. Check-in begins at 2pm (September through June) or 3pm (July & August) and has no end time. Go straight to your room & enter the code into the keypad on your door & hit “Lockstate”. On the morning of your arrival, your payment will be processed automatically with the card on file.
ROOMS ARE READY: Each room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using approved products on the EPA list for disinfectants
• Towels & linens, – will be washed using a hot setting for both the wash & drying cycles.
• High-touch surfaces — extra, extra care will be utilized with high-touch surfaces after each stay (tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, telephones, remotes, wardrobe and cabinet handles, desks, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, & bathroom surfaces. A two-step approach will be used:
1. detergent or soap and hot water for visibly dirty surfaces
2. disinfection to kill germs on surfaces.
While you are here (No Daily Housekeeping service):
To keep our guests & staff safe, we will not have daily housekeeping service. Housekeeping will only enter vacant rooms at the end of the stay AFTER the guests check out. We will provide extra soaps, shampoo & towels upon request. A laundry basket w/checklist will be provided so that you can leave your towels outside your room before Noon & fresh ones will be provided (as necessary).
Garbage can be placed outside your door between 8am – Noon – DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE out overnight or you may find a friend outside your door.
Coffee & Tea Bar – we will not be operating the Coffee & Tea Bar during COVID-19. We will provide a Coffee Maker, regular & decaf coffee & a condiment package in your room. Tea available upon request.
Office may be closed while you are here. If you need assistance, the owners are on-site and can be reached by calling: 570-226-3293.
Common area CLEANING:
Masks will be required for staff & guests in the gift shop/office.
Hand sanitizer will be available in common areas & will be required upon entering the gift shop/office.
Common areas are routinely cleaned (all frequently touched surfaces in the gift shop, workstations & keyboards, countertops and doorknobs).
CHECK-OUT. Check-out is at 11am— depart and we’ll send you a receipt via email.
